A Toronto apartment at night set up for streaming: a chair facing a desk, a cat on the rug, a microphone on a boom, and cameras aimed at the chair.

We back creators for the long run

We're in Toronto. Since 2020 we've worked with 300+ creators. These days that usually means money, systems, or help running the channel.

A small studio in Toronto

Shaky started in 2020. Early on we did a lot of hands-on creator support, including a stretch as a BIGO LIVE and TikTok LIVE agency. We are not running that kind of high-volume pipeline right now.

We still take on creators when the fit is right. Sometimes that's a cheque. Sometimes it's help with tools, editors, or a cleaner setup. We like gaming, but a lot of this is ordinary: people trying to make a living from streams and videos.

No guaranteesWe don't sell growth packages or promised virality. If someone is pitching you that, it isn't us.
No house platformWe aren't building Shaky around one app. Those change.
No giant rosterWe're not trying to sign a hundred people. A few at a time is the point.

Most creators are already running a company

They just don't always get treated that way. Extra money and a less chaotic setup only help if the person is already making something people watch.

We'd rather do a few of those well than sprinkle small bets everywhere. Show up, keep making things, be honest about what's broken.

MoneyTools, editors, gear, experiments — if the plan is clear enough to talk through.
SetupThe unglamorous stuff that makes it possible to publish on a schedule.
TasteWe care more about videos that still hold up when the algorithm moves than about one lucky week.

What it looks like in practice

Some of it is money. Some of it is hands-on help. We try to keep deals simple so nobody is angry about the paperwork six months later.

We also help platforms and brands work with creators without being weird about it.

PositioningWhat you're known for, and how you keep doing that on purpose.
ProductionLess time fighting the setup. More time actually making the thing.
DealsPlain terms. Nothing that only looks fair on day one.
